Welcome to the Pilgrim PTFA. We are a friendly group who are here to welcome parents, teachers and friends of Pilgrim to fundraise, in order to support and enhance the learning experiences of all pupils.
We help to organise or support school events, such as discos, fairs or charity days. We also have a Craft Club that meets weekly, creating items to fundraise. We sell these items for seasonal events, like Mother’s Day or for our Winter and Summer Fairs.
We meet monthly, to share ideas and prepare for our calendar of events. You can find the minutes and meeting dates of our committee meetings below.
We would love for any new members to join us. If you would like to share any ideas or contact the PTFA, please email us at email@example.com.
The role of Vice-Chairperson is still available. If you would like to apply for this role, please contact the PTFA at school.
Our next PTFA meeting will be in September - watch this space!
I have worked at Pilgrim Primary for over 10 years as a Breakfast Club Leader, Meal Time Assistant and cleaner. My son and daughters attended this school and I am very proud to have been elected as the Chairperson for the Pilgrim PTFA. I have strong links with the local PCSOs and local community leaders. I am hoping to lead our PTFA in many fund-raising events over the upcoming year.
I have worked at Pilgrim Primary for 16 years. At first I was a Teaching Assistant but in 2006, I started the role of the Parent Support Adviser. I am also a one-to-one Meal Time Assistant and the cashier of the School Bank for the Credit Union. My role as a PSA allows me to meet all parents, to support their needs and help their children. As Treasurer, I am looking forward to helping the Pilgrim PTFA to raise money over the next year.
I have worked at Pilgrim Primary for 14 years as both a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teacher. In this time I have taught many children, in all year groups from Year 1 to Year 5, getting to know many families. I am also the Home Learning leader and Computing subject leader in school. As Secretary of the PTFA, I will not only take minutes of meetings and create publicity for the group, I will also establish and maintain the PTFA section of the school website.
The role of Vice-Chairperson is still available. If you would like to apply for this role, please contact the PTFA through the email address above.

Cookies set by the website owner or service provider (in this case, eSchools) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website or service you are using (such as advertising, interactive content and analytics). The third parties that set these third party cookies can recognise your computer both when it visits the website or service in question and also when it visits certain other websites or services.
We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Services to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other cookies enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of visitors to our Services, and we refer to these as “advertising” or “analytical” cookies. For example, the embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, as added by individual schools, will require “advertising” cookies to be enabled in order to successfully play them. Schools that, for example, opt to track visitor data using Google Analytics will require “analytical” cookies to be enabled in order to do so. These third party cookies are used to tailor content and information that we may send or display to you and otherwise personalise your experience while interacting with our Services and to otherwise improve the functionality of the Services we provide. We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with their school website.
Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one of our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
